Isle of Wight 5 Star accommodation - More about the Enchanted Manor
Originally this Isle of Wight 5 Star Manor was built in 1838 by the Kirkpatrick family and was formally called the Windcliffe Manor.
The family originated from Scotland. Their history date back to AD1124 when records showed they were connected to the Royal family.

They moved to the Isle of Wight in 1704 and owned several substantial properties in Niton and the Manor was in the family until 1962 there after became a hotel.
The Kirkpatrick’s enjoyed a very high 5 Star standard of living, their wealth came from owning a bank on the Island – they issued their own bank notes. Many titled and well known people visited the family. They had over 15 staff and the original servant bells still remain.
